Baby boy toddler hospitalized after crash in west Phoenix

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) - A baby and a toddler were taken to the hospital after a serious crash in west Phoenix on Thursday night.

It happened at 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road. Firefighters said the 6-month-old boy is in critical condition. The 3-year-old is in stable condition. Fire crews didn't say whether the toddler is a boy or a girl.

Investigators are looking into what caused the crash. Firefighters are asking everyone to avoid the area.
