JOE AND Kendra Duggar came under fire after letting their one-year-old son climb up the stairs with his shoelaces undone.
The young couple had taken their son and newborn daughter out for a day in the park when they forgot to tie Garrett David's shoelaces.

Joseph, 25, and Kendra, 21, posted a sweet gallery of their day out in the sun.
Among the family's pictures was a video of Garrett David going up the steps with his shoelaces undone and although many commented on how cute their kids were, others were quick to criticize the small detail.
One person wrote: "Such a darling family. But tie the little guy's shoe laces before he trips on them."
While another one pointed out that they needed to tie them before he fell.

One eagled-eyed fan even claimed that his shoes were on the wrong feet. 10 Joe was on a swing with GarrettCredit: Instagram10 The young couple posed togetherCredit: Instagram10 Addison and mom KendraCredit: Instagramloved-upCelebs Go Dating's Alison Hammond links arms with new man Ben on romantic day outSpoilerINCRIMINATING EVIDENCEEastEnders' Gray makes a new discovery in Whitney's murder caseTHIS MOANINGThis Morning fans fuming as Holly and Phil abruptly end show half hour earlyHUSBAND AND STRIFEEastEnders fans predict Suki's husband took the fall for her crimesSpoilerCOLE LOTTA TROUBLECorrie's Ken learns the retirement village is a scam as Norris returnsSAM SLAMMEDSam Faiers leaves fans cringing after slipping into lingerie for romp with Paul 10 The young couple has two kids togetherCredit: InstagramThis isn't the first time the young couple has come under fire. Fans were quick to claim Joe had turned his wife into a "baby machine" for getting her pregnant with their second child before their son had even turned one. However, Kendra comes from a family very similar to Joe's which makes their speediness in having children completely normal - even though Kendra is already a wife and mother of two at 21. Handing an open beaker full of liquid to a child goes against all sensible parenting instincts. Why would you arm your toddler with the equivalent of a waterbomb at the kitchen table, let alone in a restaurant? While it is tempting to keep spillages at bay with sippy cups, soft spouts and bottles, there are developmental benefits to making sure your toddler starts drinking from an open cup as soon as possible. Learning how to drink from a cup and sipping rather than sucking helps young children gain control over their mouth muscles, which are essential for speech and eating, and sipping also encourages healthy orthodontic development and fine motor skills. Toddler Lydia Golding just wants to walk on two feet. The 3-year-old, from Hauraki on Auckland's North Shore, was born with proximal femoral focal deficiency (PFFD), a condition which left her with an unformed hip and shortened femur. The non-hereditary condition was picked up during mum Lauren Golding's 20-week pregnancy ultrasound. Golding and husband Hamish had suffered miscarriages in the past and feared they'd lost their baby when the ultrasound technician went "eerily silent". A slugger named Kyle has gone viral, which is something I should be able to appreciate, especially since he did so by absolutely destroying his young son at sports. Showing no mercy is how you toughen them up. Everyone knows this; they just feel afraid to admit it out loud in mixed company. But something is bothering me. And if I could be so bold, allow me to speak directly to this toddler with a bloated ERA who probably can't read yet. Buddy, you need to get your old man off the plate. He's way too comfortable up there. It is beyond time for a high hard one to brush him off. Make him move his feet. Buzz the damn tower. Have him think twice about lifting and separating. Especially if he's going to style after each bomb. That sort of thing may not bother your generation, but it matters. Here's hoping retaliation is sought and realized soon.
